I had a birthday recently & these found their way to Swiss Towers..... Very easy to fit, lots of adjustment & not encumbered by the abs. No heel plate on the brake side though?
Look sweet mate!! How much did they cost and interested to know how you get on with them as I was looking at them or Gilles
£375.00 I will set them up on Sunday all being well & give them a test run. I too looked at the Gilles which have the advantage of retaining the original brake light switch, but they cost a little more. There are so many to choose from, but I was limited to those specifically suitable to abs bikes.
How did you find fitting them? Would a mere novice such as myself be able to do this without too much trouble?
Here's the fitting instructions - http://www.rg-racing.com/Images/Products/ProductFields/pdf1225_158.pdf The brake side looks a bit of a faff, but think that's the same with all rearsets.
I like these. I did 150 miles yesturday & they give me exactly what I wanted position wise. The gear change is also much more positive, either because the pivot points are different or maybe better quality bearings are used. I used the oem heel plate on the right hand side; these are not in the kit for some reason.
I like and will need to get myself a set soon. was looking at them before the summer but like th Ohlin rear shock I have not got to fitting, it's on my to do/buy list
