    Hi

Blade coming next weekend, went for 2009 Repsol Rep, with Leo Vince GP pro can, Repsol hugger, and seat cover etc
    (pictures to follow)

Now I know this question has been asked lots of time, but I will need to fit a new set of tyres, to the bike.

I don't do track days, but want a good grip tyre, what do you recommend ?

Also are the standard batteries crap ?

    Ta

Sportsmarts all the way, had them on since spring and love them, good grip, good warm up time and give plenty of mileage
Battery wise, never had a problem with mine and its coming up to 3 years old now

Do a search OP, taz been Done 2 Death this 'What Tyre' lark!

(Grip & Mileage = Sportsmarts or PR3's, Ultimate Grip for a Road Tyre plus a few Track Days = Pirelli Rosa Corsa's)

..............................sorry, couldn't stop me self! :D

OP, the standard batteries are small. It's worth getting an Optimate etc.

Also, another +1 for SportSmarts or Metzeler M5 Interacts.

Battery wise there fine I have on a number of occasions not started the bike for over 6 weeks due to being away with work and come back and started up first time with no problem but if leaving longer I do use an optimate

Yeah PR3's for touring and high mileage, Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsas for fast road and track and Michelin 2ct's for a cheaper fast road/track use ;)
