hi guys. just fitted a Yoshi R77 slip-on onto my RR8, already had the PCV set up (mapped) for a Pipe Werx GP3 race can before fitting the yoshi, have got a k&n and O2 eliminator fitted aswell.
I'm already familiar with the Power Commander software as its on my laptop and the guy who did my map for the GP3 shown me how to tweak stuff with the fuel map.

What I've done now with the yoshi fitted is uploaded the 16-002-504 (Yoshimura R-77 slip-on, Stock or aftermarket air filter, O2 Eliminator fitted) map into the PCV but not had chance to take it for a spin due to the sh!te weather

    Any thoughts guys ???

I wouldnt tweak any adjustments on your own mate .

The supplied maps are not spot on and the only way to get the most from your fuel map is to have it set up on dyno

    Depends on the tester

I didn't need a baffle with my last bike but the tester was off his rocker

Standard maps are OK. The one I had on my bike was custom mapped and there were 5 more ponies in there ready to get out. Custom map all the way.

Just out of curiosity does anyone know what power a RR8 blade with an Arrow end pipe, k&n filter and a PC would knock out?

I need a figure for my insurance quote

Just tell them it's less than 5 percent increase or they'll hammer you, at the end of the day how can you be sure of a bhp figure cos that will change every day, if it's cold outside you're bhp will be higher. Don't give insurance companies too much information !!

I told them about 170 and standard was 163.......

You are how ever correct, temp air pressure quality of fuel will all affect the figures

Well I just bought a db killer for my R77. So I slide the baffle in the exhaust and then try and line up the screw when the screw falls inbetween the exhaust pipe and outer carbon fibre shell. So... my question to the forum is... how do I get that screw out, think I have read it hear before when someone else did this but cant find it.

    Not the best design

Not the best design lol, ya right there :) been there, had to take the pipe off and jiggle it about til it fell out. But while it was off I gave it a clean and a bit of a service (copper slip around the threads and the baffle end so it lined up easier and copper slip inside the connector end)
