I have noticed that my new R77 exhaust has slightly melted the lower body/exhaust fairing onto the S bend of the exhaust. Not a big problem but I think I will just take the lower fairing off and dremel a section out of it.. Have any of you fellow Yoshi-ites experienced this and if so what did you do to remedy it?
I plan to get some silver heat tape mate and put on the inside of fairing, but I think a section will still need to be cut out as its touching.
I used a longer bolt on the pannel and spaced it out with a spacer/washers. doesnt touch on mine. Might help you before you start dremelling out pieces
Now that sounds like a good idea.. I'm just a typical bloke, first thoughts were straight for the power tools.
I put reflective heat stuff on the inside of my plastics. If your can is made of titanium it will need re packing every 5000 miles or else the titanium sleeve will destroy itself. Yoshi R77 problem : Honda CBR 1000RR Motorcycle Forums: 1000RR.net
