Has anyone tracked or put a 2008 into race plastics as I wanted to know what they did with the air sensors/ diaphragm etc that runs on top of the air intake to the air box.
    Is it needed ??
    Thanks

    Hi
It was already done on mine, but I think most will remove it completely (diaphragms/solenoids etc) and if you keep the original air tubes just seal up the holes.
    Cheers

I've just put a race fairing on mine ('09). I plugged the vacuum line from the engine and removed everything else. Started it up and I don't have any warning lights. I have a pair of race air tubes an the way. There's a place just down the road from me that has a rolling road. I'll probably take it down there for a run to make sure it isn't lean anywhere.

Brilliant, that's a good result, I'll do the same.
I'm in Uttoxeter so will probably take mine to PCR performance at Cannock, I've heard a lot of good feedback.
    Where you taking yours.
    Thanks.

I live a few minutes from 'Black and White Bikes' in Lincolnshire. I've bought a few things from them and they seem fine but haven't had cause to use them for anything that requires trust yet. I'm a bit wary of letting anyone else do vehicle work. A rolling road session could be seen as an opportunity to tell me my bike's dangerously lean, requiring me to have an ECU mapping session at a cost of ££££

They used to come on here, not sure if they still do. Always seemed nice enough and I keep meaning to pop in when going to the outlaws, just never seem to go via that route during opening hours.

What did you do with the plugs that go to the air scoop valves, did you need to link them out or just leave them.
    Cheers
