I want to run reverse shift on my bike.

SES do a different foot lever which allows for this and mounts higher up for more ground clearance

Only thing is I've had a rough measure and in the opposite position the rod will clash with the front sprocket cover so it will require notching or removing. I have had this on my race bikes and it's not an issue but want to keep the cover on this bike as it's a road bike

Has anyone used this set up and had similar issues or know of a different hear lever I could try? Promach is £160 and requires the removal of the sprocket cover too.

Dunno if its any help but the Gilles rearsets give you the option of road or race shift and it doesn't foul the cover

Is there enough room to add a spacer on the spline knuckle? just a thought

Can you guys post pics of your different reverse shift conversions. I need to change from the standard and I need some references if I get in a jam.
    thanks

promach rearsets just have holes either side of the bottom pivot point.you attatch your shift rod to either side depending on your preference.easy.:)

Sooo.. got myself a set of Arata rearsets and as scooby says the only bit needed for a reverse shift conversion is in the pic below.
Rod to the left of the pivot nut gives reverse shift. To the right give you the standard pattern.
The DIY guys amongst us can make their own ;)
