Thinking of getting a race tank cover for the blade understand it might take a bit of fetling to fit but my biggest worry is how do these seal around the fuel cap on a standard tank worried if a big gap water may get in and bollocks the electrics especially when washing the bike and are they strong enough when fitted over standard fuel tank sure there's a few people have these fitted on road bikes can help me Many thanks Brian
I have a BSB one designed for HRC subframe on standard bike. I had to drill the holes out a little where it bolts to subframe to make it fit and it fits around the fuel cap fine although i have to use a little bit of grease on the rubber sealing ring to squeeze it on
I think it's the same shape apart from the bit you crack yer nuts on is higher to allow for a larger tank? Obviously mine is just empty space underneath as I have standard tank. It's solid and does not move about when hanging off with your knee etc
