Well, after purchasing the RaceFit Black Edition yesterday at the NEC, I couldn't wait to fit it, so as soon as I got in from work it was out into the garage. Started the bike once I'd fitted it........OMG ! ! ! Brilliant. A much deeper sound than my Modified Stock Exhaust which is more raspy. Didn't rev it much though, didn't want to piss of the whole estate. And a bonus was it fitted perfectly with no issues at all. Downloaded a base map into it until I get it mapped, It will be interesting to see if it produces more or less than my mapped and modified (Totally Gutted) Stock Exhaust. The other bonus, is I'm impressed how close the colour is to the frame and swinging arm........ wasn't expecting that. Still got to put the RaceFit Stickers on, but thought that can wait until I'm wide awake, don't fancy getting them at an angle. And one as it was...........
Loomis is my regular haunt Saturdays and Sundays. Catch you on a dry day....... Yea, I'm one of those.... LOL Are you running a power commander on yours....... Had it mapped ???
Got one on mine n no need for remapping. Done 1609 miles n no probs Yes she pulses on warm up but at 75c she settles at 1200 rpm without any issues N did ya notice how light the black edition is
Exactly what RaceFits boss told me, even though I told him I had a Power Commander 5 fitted, he told me not to bother and insisted that it fuels perfectly on a standard map. I've just downloaded PC V's standard map, with O2 Sensor Eliminator and your right, once she'd warmed up the idle was fine. LIGHT..... I thought it was made of plastic when he handed it to me, it's unbelievably light.
Dont forget ur lifetime supply of ear plugs n ger sum for the neighbours to I always find shes dead LOUD after a cold start ( 1st start up of the day ) that i have to wheel mine at the end of the road before shes allowed to roar into life
Very Nice Jim will you be posting any sound affects for us to listen too or have we any links to one running. Regards Ian
Yep, I'll post some up, just need to finish work early one day before the neighbourhood goes to sleep, or they wont be asleep for long.
Don't forget to take out your ABBA stand adaptors!! When I went to use my stand after a ride out I hunted high and low for them till I realised I must of lost em on the ride.
