I have read a few threads in which guys have fitted a Racefit Growler Black Edition exhaust and a PCV to their bikes and not been able to find a suitable map to download from the Dynojet database. Two weeks ago I took my 2012 Blade to Dynojet HQ in Preston and in exchange for a free custom map, they added the result to their database. I found that, even though Racefit said I wouldn't need to correct the injectors, I had lost some power below 4000rpm and the bike spent far too long hunting in idle. The only mod ive fitted which would have changed the A/F ratio was the exhaust (no aftermarket air filter etc), so for anybody out there using a 'not quite perfect' downloaded map, my Racefit Growler specific one should be available very soon. The PCV/map has totally sorted out the power loss at low revs, and added 9bhp to peak power. It's never easy to improve the linearity of the power curve significantly on our bike, but the fuelling was all over the place before the map and is now perfect. I have a map for a racefit growler black edition with P.C.5 on my home computer. Its a fantastic map, great A/F ratio and a nice smooth power curve, I can send anyone who requires it in a few days or so once I'm home from working away, otherwise Im sure forum member Jim Green has this too
I have a racefit growler on 2014 model .its much smoother with this exhaust vs the original on the standard no remapped ecu but i was considering fitting a power commander to reduce the snatch at low revs. Any views ?

Yep, I had a Racefit Growler Black Edition on my 2011 Fireblade, it was live mapped onto my PC5 at Crescent Motorcycles and the mapping was done by their World Superbike Technician. On my 2011 blade I was very happy with the results. Quite willing to send to anyone who want's it. I did send the map to PC but it appears they haven't added it to their library. As far as I'm aware, this is good for the 08 - 11 bikes (Prior to digital dash) running a PC5 Here's my dyno printouts showing a 5 bhp increase in outright power and + 4 lbs torque. When I spoke to their tech prior to him mapping the bike, I told him I didn't want it mapping for track use, but wanted it for road/fast road. Runfile (Red) shows the power/torque results after mapping. Runfile (Blue) shows the power/torque prior to being mapped. You will see that there was a power and torque increase throughout the whole rpm range. On the second print out below you can see how consistent the AFR remains throughout the whole rpm range........ I was totally happy with the way the bike rode following the remap and the hunting at tickover was eliminated. Quite happy to send the map if anyone wants to use it. Only other changes to the bike was a K&N Air Filter and O2 eliminator fitted. The bike was on the dyno for almost two hours. Once my 2015 bike is run in, it will be fitted with the same set up, unfortunately the Racefit Growler Black Edition I had on my 2011 bike won't fit onto my 2015 as the catalytic converter has been repositioned on the later bikes......... arghhh..

This may sound a dumb ass question but which power commander do I need to fit my 2013 HRC? Just been on website and loads of models etc..
