Just spotted a three month old RaceFit Growler on fleebay.

Question is, how loud are they on a scale of 1 - 10 ? Standard exhaust being a 3 IMO

What power benefits come from the Growler?

As anyone on here had one/use one on a 2012 Anniversary edition and if so what do you think of it?

I'm planning on doing a couple LOL of track days this year and don't want to get turned away due to noise levels.

Last question is it best run with a Power Commander of will it be fine without?

Cheers in advance Guys, Raymondo (no love I'm keeping the Blade standard, honestly, PMSL)

Have run mine without a power commander but reckon you need one to be honest!

Power wise you should see a gain as you are taking the cat out of the way so giving it a free flowing exhaust, if getting a racefit try getting the standard end cap so you can fit a noise reduction insert for track days

    Loudness without a NRI is LOUD 9/10 with I reckon a 7/10

Best bit is the weight saving of it.

Just make sure it has a link pipe as the only one I've seen for the car on ebay isn't actually for the blade and you would need a link pipe

I have one and it's EPIC!!! Very loud and I don't think you will get on many track days with it. I expect it would fail the noise limit spectacularly !!

Love it on the road. Traffic parts like the Red Sea in front of you ! Incredibly light. I couldn't believe it when I picked it up. Nicely made and easy to fit. This pipe and my quick shifter have added lots of fun to my riding. Not been pulled up for noise yet but it's on the cards !

I haven't bothered to fit a PC to this bike yet and probably won't bother. The Racefit does make her a little fluffy at the very bottom end, especially when the engine is cold but things at the mid and top end seem very lively !

The pipe looks fabulous on the bike but if you want to be discrete............forget it !

I cant answer your question reagrading the noise of the racefit because ive never owned one, but they look stunning!
I knew someone had trouble getting through noise limits with the standard system at castle combe.

But if your getting any exhaust a power commander is a must have, I ran my R77 without a Power Commander, the throttle felt like an on off switch, it seemed like there was an elastic band between the throttle and rear wheel.
When i fitted a PC3 it completely transformed my bike, power delivery is so smooth, i noticed it instantly, big grins all they way :D :D
