Bought all new kit just over a year ago at the London Excel show. I was getting back into biking after 22 year absence. Whilst I'am generally ok with the kit I got; I may have chosen different if I had thought a bit more about what to buy. I bought Furygan leathers, including gloves (racing style leather glove). Wondering what every ones favourite racing style glove is? Quite like Arc-on.

I've tried on a pair of Knox Handroid recently - and they will be the next set of gloves I buy. Nice bit of kit.

best gloves I have ever owned were Kushitani, but bought alpine stars this time round as money was an issue and they were a good 2nd best.

For the last 9 years I have been wearing Alpinestars GP Plus gloves. They seem to fit really well and are very comfortable, so every time I have changed my leathers I have bought a pair to match the suit. BUT.......... I have just bought the Knox Handroid gloves for doing track days, and I have been wearing them on my road bike to get used to them/bed them in. And I am very impressed with them and think I might use them all the time

The only reason I 'save' my Handroids for Track use only is that the closing mechanism is better suited to leathers.

I tend to use Gortex Textiles on Road Trips and find the Alpinestars wrap over and under a bulky textile jacket better that's all.

Having said that if U get in to a Road Rage confrontation then the Handroids rule as they have inbuilt Knuckle Dusters!

Sunny - Dainese Pro Carbons, used to always go for Alpinestars SP1's but they changed the cuff length and now I just don't get on with the feel of them, Rain - Held Air n Dry, Winter - Held Arctic's.
