Hi all. I've recently purchased a blade race bike with a Febur Radiator.
I want to make up a rad guard and I was wondering if anyone has an aftermarket guard could they measure the hole size in the mesh and the wire thickness so as I can order the same size and make a custom guard.
    Thanks
    Gabriel

Honestly just make your own! Very easy and can look just as pro if its cleanly done

That's what I'm doing.. I'm ordering mesh and then cutting it to suit. Just trying to find out what the general size is.
I don't want to order something not strong enough

Too small a perf could lead to overheating

Too large a perf could lead bigger stones getting through and causing expensive damage.

Honda Rads aint cheap, about £450 I believe!

This is a febur oversized race rad so I'd imagine a lot more than 450!!
I'd don't intend on finding out the hard way hence the guard before the season begins

muckster the last pic of the home made rad has taken some good hammer on the Scotland trip and all over wales with gravel roads and never over heated ones the fist one did i.e got hot to quick for my liking but the second one spot on ran as normal

I'll make it with holes as big as possible without risking a smaller pebble getting through casing damage as this engine needs plenty of cooling.. It's making a lot of ponies so would run very hot

I think R&g sell sheets of the mesh now so you can cut to fit.
