RAF Valley 27-28 sep

Hi all I was just wondering if any of the forum members will be going to the charity event at RAF Valley this weekend. I'll be there on Sunday riding an 09 repsol fireblade, feel free to come say hello if you see me, I'll be on my own

I am there sat, chance I may be there Sunday but not 100% yet

 

So that will mean it will be pissing it down then Al

 

And everyone will be binning it as soon as he breaks out his camera lol #grimreaper

 

Do your best pal, will be good to see you. Apparently rich is going show up on the Saturday too.

 

Def not going I am afraid, had a good day but know my ankle will really smart so headed home.

Took almost no pics today BTW and people still fell off.

Andy try fast, am sure you quick enough, rich got on well.

I dropped to inters which I had wanted to be in and was happier there but fast group better standard of riding I think

 

How did you get on today Andy / Restone ?

Spent much of day thinking 'wish I'd on Sunday now' esp. as my mates Jimmy and Mark were there Sunday only with the BMW racebikes - oh well

The photos from Alex James looked superb - some amazing angles / sky / cloud formations to set them off

If the event continues into 2015 that will almost certainly be the last year due to significant investment in the runway and taxiways after that time which is a shame but understandable.

 

I had a whale of a time, managed to overtake at least 6, which for me was a hell of a step forwards in a fast group.
It should honestly be renamed the 'safe' group coz its exactly that, all be it very quick.
I never once had to brake or change line due to other riders ........beats the shit out of being carved up by wannabe's diving down the inside only to run wide and ruin your late tip in as they drift across you as your near finishing the turn and about to fire it out the exit

 

Rich, did you buy any of the photos?

In some ways wish I had just done Sunday now but you never know how weather etc will turn out.

Bet you will more confident on the road now, know I was on A5 then through the forrest to Ruthin
