(rubs hands with glee) the summer sun is OUR precious now - you poor bastards are doomed for the next 6 mths (does jig with ankle slaps)
there is always one. When does the Oz summer time begin. I know you have your summer BBQ at the beach. seems wrong to me but must be amazing.
hey remal, yeah ... barbies on the beach - that way you can chill out and look at half naked bodies while your hoeing into tucker - i mean we have a ton of beach - goes all the way around the country and back again - we are a big country, so we have to do something with it all summer here in queensland kick starts around late oct / early nov - prehistoric thunderstorms by dec and mid jan we're scratching ourselves with heat rash in 40 deg humidity
And all we have here.......is "Neighbours"........and "Home and Away"....................oh yeah and "Rolf Harris".......!!
You forgot the flying Dr's Rob And cell block H but what I really want to know, to keep 'in topic' did Dave d still enjoy his if somewhat damp kebab?
Im due back in uk in 2 weeks after 4 months working abroad, all Ive been hearing is how good uk weather has been. F***ing better not be raining when im home!!!
Fair play old chap, great country I agree, but I do have to beg to differ on that statement, it would appear that you are finding it hard to employ 11 chappies that understand the fine art of batting and exactly how to use the piece of wood that they are holding
Biblical thunder and lightning storm started in the Fens at half three this morning taking out the leccy and spooking the horses, lasted about an hour and directly overhead for fifteen or so minutes, quite impressive really. Now it's just pissing down with the odd rumble of thunder.
Similar here, we've had no rain in paradise for over two weeks... Hammered down and thunder storms from about 3am (I think).... Trains delayed this morning due to flooding Awesome hey!
We're just getting some rain now, no thunder though, thought we would have had a bit of a display during the night, bit disappointed really, sad I know
Was like an autumn morning on my rural lanes heading to the A2, all the crap and dead leaves have been washed onto the road, every bend was a voyage of discovery, was like riding on ice in places, still winter is just around the corner so all good practice Trying to see through a black visor with spray, puring rain and semi darkness was not the best advised way to commute this morning, should have put the clear on.
Remember, for all you for whom the weather has broken, the last couple of months of fuel fumes that sank into the tarmac is about to float to the surface of it. It'll be a skating rink out of proportion to the amount of water lying on the road. That is all.
Some nice big cracks of thunder here now and absolutely chucking it down. Some good flashes of lightning too
