Not having access to another blade I can't compare the noises mine makes to another one, so I have a couple of questions about rattles etc. that I hope you lot have either heard/got or at least experienced.

Is there anything on the bike that is likely to work itself loose and need tightening up regularly? I've noticed a high frequency rattle that appears to be coming out of the left mirror/indicator but I have no idea if I've isolated it correctly or what it is. Also there is a clunk if I'm at low speed and drop off the power quickly (like if I'm filtering: slowing, speeding up, slowing etc). I'm guessing that this is the chain, but I can't check it whilst I'm moving :).
Ideally I'd like to take another blade out to see if it does the same but I'm not in a position to do that.

I know that this is all very ambiguous and not particularly descriptive, but I thought I'd ask in case you lot knew of anything that I should keep an eye on.

Oh, and where has the sun gone??? :(

RE: CLUNK... Have you adjusted your chain correctly?? Clunk from on throttle to off throttle could just be a loose chain...

That was my initial thought, but as the bike had just been serviced/MOTed I assumed that this was all set up correctly.

Yeah, never assume... You make an ass out of Uma Therman...

Check it yourself... 1.5 inch movement in chain half way between the sprockets... Then turn the wheel and check at intervals, to ensure the chain has no tight spots....
