Just thought id let you know after looking for a few years at various ones I finally purchased one. It has come off a forum member. Bryan01.. Topman . Bryan looks after all his gear and he's a decent bloke. He owed thd sp-1 for nearly 11 years and the bikes a credit to him. It's a minter with barely 15k on the clock. A few subtle mods have been made to make it fuel, handle and run like thd more efficient and easier to live with sp2. I have all thd standard parts aswell.. To say I'm well suited is an under statement .. Special day today at my house ..
Ha I'm a bugger for it.. Happy with my trackbike and defo won't be selling the sp-1.. Just on with listing that black and white rr8 on eBay. It will keep the wife happier

What eases the pain a little is the positive feedback and someone will ride it instead of being stuck in the garage. Keep as an investment? It's not always about money! Your a long time dead and I've got a hell of a bucket list to get through. That's my excuse or that's what I keep telling myself, now where's that bottle of red ( I mean vodka).
