weird - was looking on biketrader at these today thinking 'maybe a swap for the R1' next year - would need a decent test ride, that R1 is epic on the right road (just a shame we don't have many round Manchester)

Suppose it depends on the model year of your bike also Al (09?)
Besides it all comes to the change price and not what you get for yours.

Problem is shifting the R1 sat in garage, cannot do any deal without that

Makes the brand new one a much easier proposition - new bikes cheaper / easier than 'great value' used bikes like that one

I nearly bought one privately,black/orange,11 plate with 995 miles on the clock, had been advertised in autotrader for at least 4 weeks that I know of and the price had come down from £8995 to £7995,would have offered £7500 and maybe met him half way.I think £9750 is too much especially with that mileage,I was looking June this year, test rode one at Craigs Dewsbury, great bike but I thought the blade was better so that's what I bought.Even with the £3000 wheels too much for me,I'd want it for a grand less.
