re fitting the standard exhaust HELP

    traded bike in so need to fit the standard exhaust back on, theres a cable from the exhaust and i cant not for the life of me see where this connect to, is it left or right handside as you sit on the bike? please help asap

    What year bike??

    If 08-11, then it goes to the servo under the tail unit... 3 screws to take off under the tail section, then cable routed and connected to servo... have to turn the servo clockwise, attach cable, then put servo back in original position...

    cheers bloody hell i would of never found it under the seat all sorted fired it up and no engine management light or f1 so should be good 2 go?? gave it a few revs and the flap in the exhaust opened so think i have it sorted? cheers

    Sounds like you are good as gold there mate!! Yes, Exhaust flap should open around 4,000 RPM...

    i couldnt get it working on a 05! bought a after market exhaust - it was simpler and cheaper!
