I'm probably going to show myself up for being a real divvy here, but why don't visors come with a reactalight option?

Got to be better than riding around with two visors.
I've tried looking everywhere for a decent pair of shades to wear with a clear visor, but not really found a pair that fit well in a visor. I've already snapped a pair of Oakley's so I'm not rushing to get more of them.

So, why not reactalight visors?

I know there's a reactolight pinloc available for the Shoei xr1100. I've heard mixed reviews for it.

I agree with you that it would be a great idea.

Price I would have thought would be a big issue. with visors costing £30 to £100 each I don't think many would buy them or have the cash for it. agree a good idea

And I would buy one. then i'm a sucker for gadgets and new stuff

My concern with these is that reactolight glasses don't adjust quick enough. Therefore visors may be the same, imagine going into a tree lined wooded area from sunlight and the dark tint is too dark. This would be dangerous to bikers.I'll stick to my two visors.

I hear the point about cost. Race Visors one...£55 for the Pinlock! I don't know what percentage of light it cuts though. Surely that it changes at all is better than it not changing at all? I'd love to have something that reacts to the woods, tunnels and declining sun I come across.

Trust me the chemical visors are crap, all the ones I've had (prob 5) have been naff, I sent at least 3 back for refunds! Ive had them for my road lid and in MX google form, none worked at all, sometimes if left in the sun for long enough they would tint, but even then they took ages to return to clear ish... Now the LCD visor I posted a link to is another matter that is instant! On or off in a second, watch the video on the site. Just a shame they don't offer a pre fitted ver as Id rather pay for one ready fitted than balls up a £125+ insert.

Mind you if anyone finds one that works Id try another....lol
