Hi guys, just wondered if anyone has managed to remove the rear footpegs on a 2014 ABS Fireblade??

2nd attempt now but stuck on what i think is the ABS module and not sure if it can be done.

    Any advice or tips?

    Cheers

I've not done it on a abs version but was just wondering which way your doing it as there seemed to be two ways of going about it when I was looking into it, so thought you could maybe try the other way. Some said to remove the battery, electrics and undertray (I think). I went for remove the tail unit and split the rear subframe in half which seemed the least likely to run into complications way, took about two hours but reckon I could do it in an hour now.
    Hope this helps.

Splitting the sub frame is the easiest way in my opinion, first time takes about 2 hours and just be patient

mines a 2011Abs blade and I have it down to about 30 mins splitting the rear frame. been apart a lot for track fairing. lots of info on here about it. Search for it and you will get lots of feedback. it cannot be much different to mine I would have thought

Cheers guy, i found that removing some plastic, lock and undertray, then removing one side of the subframe at a time, i managed it in just over an hour.
    Looks much better.
