Rear Hugger

    Fitted my double bubble screen (and broke off the lugs.arrrg) has anyone else done that? THey are so fragile :(

    Also fitted my rear hugger :)

    No! I never done that, what make the double bubble? hugger looks good though

    I did that mate! Stupid little things. don't think they make any difference anyways. Bloody annoying though!

    I think the is a instruction video on fitting the higher screen somewhere on the forum, not sure where it is though. No consolation I know guys, just a little salt in the open wounds.

    Loosening the mirrors helps avoid snapping the tabs.

    I post up a pic of the screen, need to take it first.
    Yeh I did take both mirrors off (and lubed the screws)...oh well it doesnt seem to make much difference will be more gentle, next time i do something to the bike :)

    Yup me too .. I broke one of em off ... I think its a right of passage to Blade ownership

    I broke one off too,pair of sidecutters,snip snip,no lugs to be seen and unless you are in the know,nobodys any the wiser.

    When I fitted my DB yesterday I removed the allen key screws first then pushed down on the grommets overlapping the lugs and managed it fine in reverse. Might have just been a fluke though as there wasn't much to the lugs in the first place
