Rear seat doesn't fit ?

My 2010 came with a seat cowl that has 2 small hooks that lip just under the edge of the fairing. I bought a proper rear seat but it has a big hook at the middle rear yet there doesn't appear to be anywhere to hook that on to.
Any ideas out there as to why?

OK, that looks similar if not the same as mine.
How does it not fit?

You need to hold it at an angle, offering the rear to the bike first and as it slides in lower the front and click it into place.

 

@Patriotk11 - As mentioned above angle the back of the seat so the hook part pushes under the area circled in yellow and then the metal loop at the front will push down in to the lock

 

It is a much tighter fit than the cowl
And like the pictures above it uses a different fixing point and it is tight

It fits a treat, nice tight fit and with some angle slides on from the front
