On longer trips I like to take a tail bag, but I hate the way they sit on top of the raised rear cowl. So I was looking at getting a second hand rear seat from a non-SP and putting that on for when I have bags on. I'm assuming it would fit - does anyone have any info that says one way or another?
Hopefully you might know someone with a 2017 - 2019 that you could just borrow their seat and try it on. The parts lists for both the std and SP versions show the same pic but with a different part number - which might be due to model designation only. Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try. I've seen a few older seats on eBay that claim a 2016 and earlier seat will fit too - I've got one available so will give that a try first.
