I have finally got my bar risers to go with my adjustable clip-ons. At present I have GB Moto rear sets which are way to forward even on their furziest reward position. I would like to hear from people who are tall like myself who have similar problems and what they have bought. Mr OCD has said that light-Tech have more adjustments than the ones I currently have, he has provided pictures and measurements. I would be really gratfull if anyone else could help before I commit to buy yet another set of rear-sets. Many thanks in advance.
I am 6ft2" and have Gilles VCR rearsets fitted which suit me fine, I also have a 2012 model and have Gilles vario bars fitted to give me a bit more room. Do you want me to measure the furthest they will go back for you?
Yes please If you could measure from where the pegs are mounted onto the frame too the end of the footpeg Cheers
I'm 6'2 and have some Harris ones on order, the bike is actually more comfortable than I expected, but an extra inch or two of leg extension would make all the difference. Some bar risers are next on my list, which did you go for, and would you recommend them?
I fitted Helibars on my 2010 a month back. I went for these because there is no modding of any cables required. I'm really pleased with them - no more aching wrists. I'm just over 6 feet tall (and the wrong side of 60) and now find the bike really comfy for 100+ mile rides.
