Hello there, been thinking about upgrading the rear shock on my 09 hrc blade.
Really don't know what to go for, nitron, ktech, ohlins, there's a lot of choice.
Ohlins seem to do 3 different ones, the ho788, ho931, and also the ho340.
Would be after the one which is easiest to adjust.
Anyone have any experience with these? Or any of the others?

    Cheers

The HO340 is a less expensive TTX36 MK2 like the HO931, it's the same but you don't have the Hydraulic preload and the hydraulic adjuster are on the top of the shock, that it.

I dont think this info is correct

I think your refering to the HO788 NOT the HO340 which is the most expensive new TTX GP.

Here is an extract from the Ohlins website
"The TTX GP is Öhlins’ latest shock absorber for hypersport and sport bikes
It features the TTX twin tube technology, but has been developed with the latest technology from Öhlins vast experiences in MotoGP
The compression and rebound damping adjustments are improved
by a new adjustment needle with better guidance and different flow restriction behavior
It gives a more precise adjustment and constant function
The adjustment range is also wider and variations between shock absorbers are reduced
A much improved chassis feedback as well as improved performance for the rider is obtained
News also includes a new main piston. This gives the rider much better traction and feeling which means improved control"

The H0788 is what I have only difference from the H0931 is where the hydraulic preload adjuster is mounted
As said before I know nothing about the GP ?
