Guys , I've fitted a new supersprox rear sprocket and my only concern is that the 6 bolts that hold the sprocket on,the thread doesn't seem to clear the nut by much, has anyone fitted an aftermarket sprocket and not bothered with the washers ?, mine are fitted at the moment and nuts torqued up correctly.

I would say as long as the thread is through the nut it will be ok

The lock piece is on the thread. Tbh don't remember ever seeing washers on a rear sprocket. Is it because it's aluminium?

I replaced mine and used ProBolt titanium nuts, plenty of thread protruding. IMG-20230205-WA0000.jpeg

The lock tabs are not in the threads. The nuts have flanges so what are the washers for?

locked bit is 1 thread in and washers are to spread the load of the nut against the sprocket.

1 thread in is not enough as they are still on the taper.
The flange nuts have washers built in. That's the flange.
