After doing lots of research I found these Honda CBR1000RR (08-11) - VersaStep racing rear sets. on eBay (end time 20-Jun-11 06:52:27 BST) has anyone fitted them. I'd be interested in what you think
I have been eyeing these up aswell for the price they seem like they have the most amount of adjustment, they look faily stiff in construction going by the sizes hard to tell without actually trying them though. I am tempted to get some some good info here StudioReinert Pictures fitted to a Repsol Blade
The silver is what i was thinking to match my silver frame. it says in the description " carbon heel plates " but its in brackets.. ill email them to see if it is an optional extra
Looking at the photo I think you need to fit the shift rod to the next hole back on the gear lever. The rod should be as close to 90 degrees as possible with the shaft on the gearbox.
Guys , how much different does the bike feel with the pegs back ? I do find my self putting my toes on the peg so should really invest in a set of adjustables
Bike doesn't feel much different but allows you to find a more comfortable position for your legs and feet and you can feel whet the bike is doing better with them also. The bike should steer better with the pegs further back and it forces more weight onto your wrists
