I bought one on Ebay that had good reviews and was only £25 but unfortunately it did not fit the 2017 blade and I need top send it back. Can anyone suggest one that does fit? Thanks guys...

I have various stands that ll fit my 2018. I guess you purchased one with adjustment at the lugs. The best I have is by Ryde:

Is it too wide or too narrow?

Generally, they're pretty much a universal fit.

It's too narrow to fit in the r&g bobbins I've tried everything possible it's a very strange one tbh. Anyway its going back and I'm ordering that one you gave me the link for. Appreciated!

I have this exact same stand and it fits my 2018 SP no problem. The stand comes in 3 parts if I remember correctly? When you assemble it.....before you tighten up the bolts on the frame, make sure it's in it's widest position. For example, pull it out so it will fit and then tighten everything up.

    Hope that makes sense.o_O:)

Just pull/bend the legs apart - I had a similar issue with my 2015 repsol. It fitted fine after splaying the legs slightly and was no detriment, but I’ve got an abba now

Another recommendation for the Ryde paddock stand , good quality and reasonably priced.

Bleedin' brilliant Paulo. Never seen them before except for single-arm MVs.

I've nearly got more stands than bikes, but these are ideal for my tight 'lounge room' situation.

    For anyone else see here:

    Hi,

This item is no longer available

    Regards

    christian

I really like that Rentec, but not sure I want to drop £100. I do have a £5 voucher:rolleyes:, but I might keep tabs on offers and hope to snaffle one a bit cheaper.

Excellent all round stand. I use it with bobbins, but I have the flat lugs for another bike. Solid construction, bike doesn't wobble (when on flat ground) and I lift the bike by myself with ease, although it does take some confidence and technique.

I also have the Ryde front stand. That is a bit harder to lift because I feel the leverage axis is poorly positioned. Nevertheless, strong and stable when the bike's up. I used both these stands for my recent fairing and tyre change.

Thank! For the money, it looks like an excellent option for my blade 08.
I know you like Pitbull stand. But its price, even in the United States, is rather big, and the delivery will be more than half the cost to my country.
But of course they are quality and look great.

The Pitbull I have is a single arm stand for my MV. Yes, they are dear, but they're quality plus. You're correct on shipping. I was very fortunate to save on shipping and customs because mine was arranged through an MV forum member who was holidaying in USA and brought it back for me. It is different than most in that it is 'reversible' so can roll the bike forward or back onto the stand. Great for tight spaces:
