I was out last night testing some leather trousers with my jacket and also a textile jacket I bought before i got the blade.

The jacket was too baggy and has an offset zip and resulted in some swirling of the paint from the material + scratches from the zip.

... Result after a 5 minute test :

It's supposed to be for motorbikes, but not if you sit near the tank?
    Bloody stupid design.

Is there anyone you guys recommend or know in Surrey/Middx recommended fixing it?
Would be uber happy if it could be t-cut back to life, but I think the scratches may be too deep :(

Sorry no painter recommendations here but i don't think that'll T-cut back as i think you probably know. Sorry for you as that really shouldnt happen and I know how pissed i'd be feeling if that was me. A better option may be a replacement tank cover (assuming thats an 08+) as I sold mine for £90 and it was mint.....that way you'd have a spare in case you ever decide to wear that crappy old baggy jacket again!

Stupid thing is that the jacket was not cheap either.
Turned out to be even more expensive.

I think that a new/spare cover may be a good option although I can see that beginning to slip towards a complete spare set for trackdays :D
