can anyone recommend suspension.settings for a rr5? Mine are all over the shop, far too bloody choppy. The sag is about bob on, the rest has been set for track.

Can't help you there, Blags. I wasn't paying attention when the bloke set mine up. I'm not brave enough to head out to the garage and see how many turns it's wound off from full hard etc in case I feck it up :D

Me and rich have both had our bikes set up at reactive suspension just outside york. top bloke who really knows what he is doing. £45 isnt too bad either unless you really want to try and sort it yourself

Managed to find standard settings on a website. I'll work from there. Usually standard settings arent too far off for general roads. Yea fez. 45 sheets is good enough. Just wanted to get mine summat like. Will sort it proper when its had a few good runs and the clocks dont drop off. Er, or do.

I changed the settings on my RR5 two weeks ago and put them back to what was in the Haynes manual. I'd mucked about with them when I got the bike last year but was never happy with them.
Since January, I've lost three stone and found the ride was getting more and more harsh, whereby I was getting bounced out the seat on the bumpy bits on occasion.
Since putting them to standard settings, it's changed the bike totally and it's a real joy to ride again.
I think if you're a 'standard' size then the standard settings will be bob on. Good luck :)

from my conversations suspensions set-ups are based on size and weight of the rider. I will be booking myself in in a few weeks to have this done to see how much of a difference it actually makes.

This maybe of some use, i have not read it yet though..

Thanks all. I'm pretty ok at understanding the art of bouncy bits, just needed a base setting to work with. I'll defo have it set up by a pro though, well worth 45 squid.
