I've got a Silverstone trackday next week so am going to put the original exhaust back on the bike

I got the bike with an aftermarket one but don't think it will pass the noise test and don't want to risk it. I've taken the old exhaust off and will put the original back on.

Can anyone explain how to reconnect the original exhaust and ensure the servo and cable works OK? (I'm yet to take the panel off to expose the servo)

Things like which way to wind it before connecting, which way to wind afterwards (if this is possible), what do I need to do with the exhaust/cable connection before fitting

EDIT - Should have said, its an RR8!

no need to reconnect it as the butterfly is naturally open and most believe it should stay that way. I think the track noise tests are done at a rev range that the valve would be open anyway.

Do you know which way to pull or push the cable to make sure the butterfly is open?

And do you know which way to turn the servo to make sure its happy (although if its happy now I suppose it'll be happy in future with the original exhaust back on
