Of course it's more affordable than you think and I'll tell you why. Blade Honda is my local dealer through which I have purchased 3 Hondas. I have seen this particular 'Red Bull' and whilst appealing, it was an exercise to clear the floor of old stock. These are the Red 2017 models 'dolled up'. Looking carefully, you will note the 25th Anniversary decal beneath the fuel filler. They were done by a local company, but not Dream Machine. Also, they are decalled and not painted. Six were made and I know one sold a fortnight ago. Not sure of price, but as old stock, it might be a surprise to some to find that they've purchased a 2017 bike on a 19 plate. Still, it's appealing and it's a Blade!!
The difference is that that is a 'proper' SP. Dream Machine (where I have my NS400R at the moment) does some of them as does Spray Bay. You can tell that is a quality job by the continuation of the Bull over the frame and tank rather than just confined to the fairings. The price of Blade's 2017 Red Bull is £16,489. https://www.blademotorcycles.co.uk/pages/servicing/custom-motorcycle-paint.htm The prudent purchaser could snaffle a 2018 genuine SP for £16,949: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CB...503567?hash=item3d4b9bc04f:g:FmwAAOSwpzRcQIzD As Dirty Harry once said: 'You need to ask yourself a question. Do you feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?' For £460 diff, it's a no brainer.
