    been watching the filming and pics via FB for the past 8 months so it's been around and planned much before bottom. it's never going to be as good as the first 3 series but I do like red dwarf

    yeh i have known about it for a good while also as my mrs explained why craig wasnt in corrie any more lol, as long as its better than the last lot they did i dont mind

    The last lot was an embarrassment... looked like a load of old dads trying to remember how to be teenagers... I'm hoping they've learnt from that mistake, but I fear its going to be another cringe-fest.

    I'm actually a little excited!

    I always thought they missed a trick by not doing a film back in the day... they could've based it on the first 2 books, it could've been massive.

    The first two books were hilarious.

    When Lister asked the Cat if he'd ever considered the fact that he lived in a castle, waited on hand and foot by half naked valkyries and led dog hunts all day and every day unusual, and the Cat said

    Well, all in all, not bad at all. Far better than the 'special'. No spoilers please for those who've recorded it, but I've set it to series link so all good.

    Agreed, it can't ever live up to the early series but I thought that was a good effort. Defintely worth watching.
