I need a red reflective sticker, not a plastic reflector or one of those round ones. It has to be the flexible sticker type. I got some with an R&G tail tidy once but have used it all.
Anyone know where I can get some please?

I've used 3M heavy duty prismatic tape in the past and it's got something like a 5 year life. Unfortunately you'd probably need to but a whole roll, but it's relatively easy to get hold of.

    its in the rules

    1.5 Reflectors

This inspection applies to the obligatory rear reflectors that are required by Regulation to be fitted.

Rear reflectors are not required to be fitted to vehicles used only during the hours of daylight, which are fitted with neither front nor rear position lamps, etc. (See 1.1.A)

Approval marks are not included in the inspection.

Reflective tape is not acceptable as a substitute for a rear reflector.

    in good working order

Note: At least 50% of the reflecting surface must be visible from the rear

    red in colour.

Cars, vans and trucks also have red reflectors built into the rear light clusters mate.

Cheers Phantom, but that's one rule I don't mind testing out.
I'll take a real reflector with me and stick it on if he wants (in 2 years when MOT's due) :)
