remove scuff marks from cowl

anyone have any tips to remove boot scuff mark off the black area in the middle,guessing its rubber or some synthetic type material,

 

Have you tried just using some elbow grease and a damp microfiber on that mofo?

 

APC applied with brush then wiped off with a MF.

I doubt that will come out, it looks like it’s damaged the grain.

 

There are several products out there that purport to repair scuffs on leather furniture. I used one called Scratch Doctor before now, comes in a tin like shoe polish, about £5 50 ish I think. Says it does scuffs on shoes and car seats. Worth a try at that price probably.

 

Swipe it over with MucOff Silicone Shine, works wonders! Any kind of silicone spray would help disguise it, but it does look quite a deep scuff!
