I gather you can use a hair dryer on it, but once its a bit hot, do you just start to peel it back from one of the edges with your fingers ? Or is there some kind of black art processes to use ?

Its one of the last jobs i want to do on my 954, i have changed a lot of the chavvy bits the previous owner had but on it.... and there were a number of them

But this is my last one. Ta.

Hi , it's the way I always use Once you get a start and can lift a corner, keep the warm air going and chase the rest of it off. Should do the trick.
    Regards Tim

any residue thats left when it's off will come off with a gentle rub of furniture polish, especially when it's still warm.just be carefull next time out though as it will be a bit slippy anf you could crush your bollox :)
