Removing Brembo RCS span adjuster

    just picked TWM remote span adjuster and looks straight forward to fit!... Looked on the web but some people are saying the OE Brembo plastic adjuster pulls off and others are say you need to dismantle and drill the Knob out to remove?? ....really don't want to butcher the OE adjuster?? I'm sure someone has the right answer?
