Hi dudes, Thanks for all the help and advice on remapping the blade to stock exhaust. The guy I bought bike off had camera mounts stuck to the rear seat cowl, nose and side fairing. They are quite sharp and I'd love to remove them, but am bricking it in case they lift any paint or a darker shade to the rest of the plastics. They seem to have a foam backing which I assume had adhesive already on. What would be the best way of removing them or should I just "put up with them" to be sure of not making a pigs ear of the whole thing???
Use a hair dryer to heat them up, they need heating up alot though. I had gopro mounts on my old r1 and it took quite a bit of heat and a fair ole tug to get them off, it didnt lift any paint or cause any other paint problems when taken off.
It would be easier to buy a GoPro and use them maybe? I have them on my bikes and no problem - but then I film loads of the road trips Hairdryer works - I will have the used ones off you if you have no need for them - I have the tape and can re-use them - let me know about that, cheers
Not sure what make camera mountings they are but if I do manage to get them off your more than welcome to them mate. How do you send a private message to get addresses etc?
