Guys has anyone removed their complete loom from 2008 onwards bike? Do you need to drop the engine out to do it?

I'd say no because loom runs down inside of frame and then up over air box where ecu sits.

Should all unplug then pull away.

That's what I'd have thought... but now my bike is in bits, the only thing which appears to be in the way of allowing me to remove it from the inside of the frame is the bloody engine. I'm hoping someone has experience and can suggest alternative to this somewhat drastic measure?

Ok - I've been told remove throttle bodies and this will allow access. Phew.

Not so bad then if that is the case. Are you putting a HRC loom on is your stock knackered?
