I'm trying get a snapped bolt out of the swing arm that came of the hugger it's the centre bolt.
Im wanting to try take the back wheel out and disconnect some of the linkage for the shocker and hopefully the swing arm will drop right down so I can get to the broken stud.
I have just got myself a Haynes manual. Seems easy to remove the shock and linkage. I'm just wondering if I'm going to have to remove the exhaust as it doesn't say to.
But in the pictures it shows it with the exhaust off but they will have it off as they are working on a new bike.
But it does normally tell you to do something before you start.

So just wanting to make sure.
    Thanks Tony

    Hi Tony
I’ve just changed my rear shock and removed the swing arm to give everything a good clean and grease the linkage and I never removerd the silencer. It’s a pretty straight forward job to be fair. Well worth you giving everything a grease if you going that far. I removed my footpegs and put a long m8 bolt in and put axel stands underneath them to support the Bike.
