I'm trying to get a snapped bolt out of the swing arm that came of the hugger it's the centre bolt.
Im wanting to try take the back wheel out and disconnect some of the linkage for the shocker and hopefully the swing arm will drop right down so I can get to the broken stud.
I have just got myself a Haynes manual. Seems easy to remove the shock and linkage. I'm just wondering if I'm going to have to remove the exhaust as it doesn't say to.
But in the pictures it shows it with the exhaust off but they will have it off as they are working on a new bike.
But it does normally tell you to do something before you start.

Hi Tony. I have a 2011, but not have removed the Swingarm. However, my Honda Service Manual states that only the muffler need be removed. Hope this helps.

I didn't have to remove the exhaust when I changed the rear shock on my RR6, but I don't remember the swing arm dropping much more then normal.
It wouldn't hurt to remove the shock linkage bolt to see how much clearance you get though.
