removing stock air tubes and vacuum hoses, electrical connectors etc...

    Have removed the stock tubes today and uplugged the electrical connectors from each side and from loom, is this what others have done when theyve fitted race tubes? will it cause any error lights etc? cheers

    We did the same on Jimbo's mate, the only thing we did was the pipe going towards the engine, doubled it over an cable tied it.

    We then ran the bike and didn't notice anything untoward, so interested in others views as would also need to do it on Jimbo's

    Cheers Dave, that's exactly what I've done, well wil be doing just need to plug the vacuum hose that comes from the left side of the frame, I've removed everything else. It's off to be dyno'd on 18th so getting it all ready for that, need to change oil and battery is off at the min so won't be running up until next week so thought I'd ask others. Cheers again

    When you fitted the race tubes would it be possible to fit these with standard fairings?
