Removing the rear Heat Shield

    HI All,

    How do i remove the rear heat shield around the exhaust? (under the rear seat cowl)?

    Not sure if the Cowl needs to come off for me to be able to take this off?

    It is only held in with 1 nut and bolt on the rhs of the bike. if you look under the heat sheild you will see the bolt head and the nut is on the outside of the frame. Once you have taken the bolt out the rear section will pull off then remove.
    ps you will have to take the end can off first.

    Cool thanks, was thinking it wont be as simple as removing one bolt..

    may leave this one till the weekend.. :)
