Just bought a grab rail off ebay, first mistake as it hasn't arrived with the bolts long enough to fit my rr7. I've contacted renntec to get some sent out. Second more serious problem is my bike has the averto alarm fitted and one of the contacts for the alarm is under the passenger seat (one half being on the seat and other half would be under the grab rail) so the alarm isn't going to work. Has anyone else had this issue and if so what did you do to get it sorted.
You can move the pillion seat switch for the alarm to another area under the seat. Mine is screwed to the L/H rear screw that holds the base plate to the cowl cover of my RR5 (same seat).
I've moved my alarm sensor. To fit the grab rail do I need to take the hooks off the front of the underneath of the pillion seat. I don't have the fitting instructions so not sure if I've got it on correctly.
