i rented one in leeds when i had a mk1 escort about 20 years ago , escorts were renowned for being easy to rob so i bought one of those thatcham approved steering wheel disc locks that totally enclose the steering wheel . not pretty but it did the job. Cant you buy some sort of camera or alarm that you can get to connect to your phone remotely if there is any movement in or around the garage ?
