Does anyone know/recommend who could pull some dents out of a tank, localish to Derbyshire?

It's on behalf of my mate who was in a smidsy & he's bought bike back off insurers.

It's a 04 gsx1400. He's amiable to a replacement from a breakers but would be costly compared to getting the dent repaired!

You say DENTS sounds like it'd be cheaper sourcing a new tank.
If it's just a dent without creases then it's easier but once the paint has creased it'll need a repaint. I've seen dents removed from car body panels with heat and cold to shrink back the metal and they just pop out and sometimes a tank can be 'blown' to shape but it'll need a pro to sort that but he sound of it.

Try googling local paint repairers or motorcycle painters.

Thanks I'll pass on to him. He mentioned the heat/cold method...I think it was one of a few methods he'd looked at on utube, didn't realise it may pop back out!

I think he's weighing up cost of repairing against replacement. He's fixed all the other damage himself!
