Ah yeah I rumbled through around quarter to 8 I think. Keep seeing another blade too Crimson Red and Black definitely an RR8 model but seems to be on a 57 plate that likely to be one of the launch models?

Just don't know how you cope on the Highway, freaking slow through the tunnel, then that narrow queue up to Tower Hill.

I come out of Screwfix and went back onto the Commercial Rd, and as most mornings it was empty all the way up to the City. Rarely any longer than 7 -10 minutes from Blackwall Tunnel to Tower Hill that way

Might have to try that way tomorrow as the highway is a nightmare to filter through in the mornings especially with all the tipper lorries down there at the moment. I'll have a look at the map and see how I can get back out on to the embankment if I went down commercial road.

I get up to the Aldgate roundabout, left onto to Whitechapel High St, 1 st left Leman St, 2 right Prescot St, left at the top where the road splits and you are back to the main Tower Hill junction.

Bus lane nearly all the way from Blackwall/All Saints, except for a short bit near the Rotherhithe Tunnel. 1 speed camera going in, just past All Saints DLR, 3 coming back.

Your biggest issue is not traffic, but keeping to a sensible speed in the empty bus lanes.

Thanks matey. I'll try give that a whirl tomorrow see what it is like. Used to ride down commercial road all the time but yeah I know what you mean about the bus lanes seen people absolutely belting down them.

That's because you ride strange hours... I've seen your bike. Never you... And I'm as consistent as the weather.

LOL I see a lot of your ships anchor chain hanging over the railings, not so much your bike!

That's largely because I lead a weird working pattern of 'as long as it takes, is your contracted hours' routine. Half the time I haven't got a freaking clue when I am about to start and when I might finish, normally in the range of 6am to 11pm, must end up bumping in to each other one day by law of averages I guess.

Not one I would normally gravitate to, though not far from where I work, tend to go to the Hung, Drawn and Quartered or All Bar One on Byward if its a shots session

Never been there... But I ride past it every day. Looks nice in Summer though.. I work up at Aldgate, so Hoop just round the corner, and handy for the tube afterwards (Always proven difficult to miss Aldgate Station from it afterwards).

Plus the barman is a Kiwi :)
