Looking at an 09 Repsol Blade, 12,000 miles, Is there anything I should be wary off? Looks in good nick. This would be my 4th blade if I can do a deal, If it falls through fancy a RC8, Love the V twins!!!

If you have had four Blades already then you should have half an idea.

I have just bought a 13 plate with 10,000 on the clock its a fantastic bike, its the only bike I have jumped straight on and can ride at a reasonable pace. No suspension adjustments or anything.

I have read that some earlier models suffer from heavy oil consumption not sure what model, but check the usual, tyres, chain/sprockets headstock bearing etc and the service history.

I was warned of the oil consumption before buying my RR9 but it was never an issue. There were some crank issues (or similar) but at 7 y.o. and 12k it'll all be good.

Just do all you're usual checks before purchasing and it's sure to be ok.
I loved mine. Probably one of the best bikes I've owned.
