Hi guys sorry still working out the site ,I'm looking to buy a Repsol either 2007 or 2009 ,is the vin the only way to check the bike ? On the gov mot site they seem to be registered as orange, multi colour or blue ,is that just how the dealer has imputed, also how many miles before the valve clearances need checking ,any other nightmares to avoid ,appreciate your advise
    Cheers Jerry ( the newbie)

Mine was registered as blue and the valve clearance is at 16k, most places will charge for it but not do the work, then tell you they are bulletproof proof so don’t need checking.

Mine was a Repsol registered as orange, But I was not keen on the colour so changed it to red white and blue
