Ride out for anyone in the northern hemisphere? Sunday 06/10/2013 Firstly We have to take into consideration the time and distance for peeps to travel for meeting up. Bearing in mind Sun sets 18.27pm. The options are...... Hawes WhiteHaven CrossGates. I'll post a poll. Winner takes the lead. Any of those for me but I'll be up for a decent ride out anywhere weather permitting. Giv, you are allowed, but I'm not sure if your vote counts. I'm not sure you'd want me to take the lead unless it is up/down the A6 Penrith to Kendal. I hadn't seen the votey buttons at the top
And good leadership it was ! We are heading down into Barney county here, so you never know once he defects he may lead us into the promise land but then dust us on the BM .
More than welcome Lee. It's been a long time since we have all had a meet up. That's the spirit dude. Now, what about the bike I think he's going to have a lot of explaining to do
Of course I shall be attending this little soiree, not sure you should make a definite decision on the destination until the night before, weather depending. I'm up for either of these rides so probably won't vote, just want to make the most of what little time we have left. Regarding my Northerner status, it was my second attempt to get the boys "wild swimming", they chickened out on the first attempt and took shitloads of coaxing on the second! I was going in come what may, I just wasn't expecting it to be that cold! Obviously I was playing to the camera...........
Quick hijack. Gary, how do you do the multiple quotes. I've never quite worked it out and am worried I'm depriving the commununity on even more of my opinions of their opinions as a consequence. Pm me. Back to the action.
Now you have explained that to us all Steve we all fully understand how it was so cold and it won't get mentioned on here again .. NOT Can't say I heard Gary or al screaming . Vvvvvvvv Don't think I can make this as its my mrs 40th on the 5th and she will probably have the hangover from hell on the Sunday meaning I will be looking after my daughter . Should be a quick pace if Gary b leading the way.
The areas were/are a general idea of what's an acceptable distance given the day light available. As thefirebloke quite rightly says, we may have to change the area to avoid any poor weather in any given county regardless of the winning poll. If its dry country wide? Well then the winning vote gets an injection motorcycles Long range says 10% chance of perspiration, but we know how things can change at the drop of a hat. Good interest Guys thanks
